Bracket Play got going yesterday down in Memphis

Division One Results

After having dominated Pool Play to earn a first-round bye in the  Championship Bracket, CBC was stunned in the second round by the Swilling Storm out of Louisiana by a score of 58-57.  CBC will play the Gainseville Kings on Friday morning in the Round Two Consolation Bracket to determine 10th-14th Place.

The Basketball Specialists went up against the Virginia Panthers in the first round and came away on the losing end of a 59-45 ball-game, bowing out of the Championsip Bracket after an impressive performance in Pool Play.

Nick Osenaren came through with a monster ball-game to lead MABC to a second round Classic Bracket victory yesterday over the Arkansas United Soldiers. Word from Memphis is that Big Nick posted a triple-double in this one on points, boards, and blocks.  The Bengals move on to the Sweet 16 where they'll face the NC Rising Prospects today.

After going winless in a loaded Pool O, Mass Evo Elite broke out with a big win Thursday morning in the first round of the Classic Bracket, defeating Wisconsin Playground Elite by a score of 63-59.  In the second round, the Evolution fell to the Atlanta Celtics, eliminating them from contention in the Classic Bracket.

Division 2 Results

MPLEX cruised to an easy win in the first round of the Championship Bracket on Thursday morning, topping the Ruston B&G Club by a score of 77-54.  In the second round, the Swish were defeated by the Hoyas Basketball Club in a tight contest by the score of 70-67.  They'll play in the 2nd Round Consolation Bracket beginning today.

Mass Elite dropped a 66-53 decision to Deron Williams Metro Elite, knocking them out of the Championship Bracket.  They'll play in the Round One Consolation Bracket to determine 11th-14th Place starting today.

After having Thursday off, Stars Rising will get back at it today as they face the Cincinnati Tar Heels in the 2nd Round of the Classic Bracket.
